The Gay Men's Chorus of Washington celebrates the triumph of love and gay marriage equality with MY BIG FAT GAY WEDDING - a concert filled with love songs from Broadway, guest wedding singer Matt Alber and two lucky Maryland grooms, who will be married live on stage. Music includes Sondheim favorites “Getting Married Today”, “The Little Things You Do Together” (COMPANY), “It Takes Two” (INTO THE WOODS), classic love songs from Broadway “Something Wonderful” (THE KING & I), “This Nearly Was Mine” (SOUTH PACIFIC) and music from Robert Seeley and Robert Espindola, composed specifically for Gay Men’s Choruses, including “If I Could Choose” (METAMORPHOSIS) and “Naked in the Leaves” (EXILE). Matt Alber’s solo arrangements with guitar will include a performance of India Arie's "Ready for Love", his unique version of Whitney Houston’s “I Wanna Dance With Somebody”, and an arrangement Alber’s latest love song “End of the World” with the Chorus two dancers.
