Virgin Mobile presents
Public Enemy
Benefitting the Sasha Bruce House
To mark National Homeless Youth Awareness month, the reunited rap group Public Enemy, featuring Flava Flav and Chuck D, will be giving a performance to mark the designation by Congress of November as National Homeless Youth Awareness Month, as sponsored by Virgin Mobile USA's RE*Generation initiative to help homeless youth. All proceeds from concert ticket sales will benefit the Sasha Bruce House.
The world premiere of Kyocera's ALL Access documentary will be hosted prior to Public Enemy's performance at Lisner Auditorium. Kyocera gave youth across America the opportunity to go behind the scenes at the 2009 Virgin Mobile FreeFest and create the ALL Access rock documentary about the free music festival, featuring candid moments and exclusive interviews with Weezer, Franz Ferdinand, Public Enemy, Taking Back Sunday, Blink-182 and more.
Concertgoers who donate a new or gently used coat to Serve DC's "One Warm Coat" initiative will receive a V.I.P. upgrade, as available.
