Virginia's 200-mile Crooked Road passes through some of the most musical places on earth. The tiny Appalachian communities scattered along its length have created and passed on old-time, bluegrass and mountain gospel sounds that have profoundly influenced the development of American music.

This tour is a stunning collection of virtuoso artists. It features: NEA National Heritage Award  Fellow and Appalachian guitar master Wayne Henderson; bluegrass banjo virtuoso Sammy Shelor; family old-time string band The White Top Mountain Band; old-time fiddle and banjo masters Kirk Stuphin and Eddie Bond; up-and-coming bluegrass band Amber Collins and No Speed Limit; and a young keeper of mountain ballads and songs, 21-year-old Elizabeth LaPrelle.
